Jvr seemed to steal the show. 100+ mph slap shot. I don't think I have ever seen him take one. Maybe he can play a point on the PP. Also looks like Nodl was the fastest skater.

JvR seemed to excel at every event and was nearly the fastest skater too in addition to the big time slap shot. He admitted that he rarely ever takes slap shots. Maybe he could finally start letting them fly. It seems like this kid has one hell of a bright future ahead of him. Let's trade him.

If Carter would have raced, I'm sure he would have won fastest skater. He nearly won the NHL fastest skater competition 2 years ago.

You sure the radar gun wasn't set to Km/h? 101.5 mph is pretty close to a record.

How does a PP unit of Timonen-JvR-Leino not score, but the Shelley-Betts-Nodl unit does? Shame on all of Finland and Middletown, NJ.

They should have televised it. Or if they did televise it, they should have advertised it.

I do. TCN is Ch 8 on my TV, but you need the digital box to get it.

Mania, I don't really see him as a Top 6 guy down the road. But right now, he is young, cheap, and on the rise. To trade him for lesser value doesn't make much sense. Once his price tag starts to rise, then I could see moving him or letting him walk, assuming he doesn't develop.

its a good point propps...if he steps up in the playoffs maybe will see the Silver we Flyers fan deserve...i feel it this year...
