Some one had to go and Gagner hasn't been anything special for $3 million.In the stark overcast of day I am still a bit befuddled by this.
Yes, the Flyers needed to clear money to keep Ghost. Yes, the team has been playing without Gagner for a while. Yes, Gagner is a defensively limited player. This just strikes me as a short term/short sighted quick move. I think the next move waiting is what happens after Streit has played a few games.
