Actually Montoya has been okay. I just think Zherdev has a lot of talent. It's worked out well with Grabner. So I don't see any reason why it can't with Zherdev.

If he MAKES it to the Pens, I'd be shocked if they passed on him. He's not too expensive, he's got a scoring touch, obviously he'd have to work on fitting into the system, but he'd probably play motivated against Philly and NYR. In other words, if all it costs is his salary, DO IT.

I would do it. What exactly do they have to lose on this? Hope he's playing for a contract. Apparently, he asked to move (obv Philly wasn't using him). Give him a shot. We're playing 6 AHLer's a game.
