Emery was the best goalie we've had in a long while. If you take out the 5 games he played with a torn abdominal wall, he had a 2.19 GAA and a .921 sv% and 3 shutouts. Are you telling me those stats aren't worth a league minimum two way contract?

And he wouldn't take any shit from Brent Johnson!

If they can swing it cheap why not do it Emery didn't fail the Flyers his hip did. Plus if he performs it allows them to move a goalie for possibly a draft pick or something and save some cap room.
