My point was Denver beat far superior teams by more than 30 points.

The spread is the spread for a reason. It is dead on more times than not. People win bets all the time. It doesn't mean the losing bets were made by complete jackasses. Well, unless you consider all people who bet on sports to be complete jackasses...which is understandable.

That particular photo of the Heat betting ticket, which wasn't even disseminated by Mayweather, was a fake. The bet itself (rather than that photo) might well have been real.

Mayweather is well-known for making very large bets on sporting events.

670 the score in chicago had one of the vegas books saying that the mayweather bet was a bogus last time. mayweather made the same claim a few yrs ago when he took Michigan over Alabama for 4 mil and lost. he claimed he never made the bet despite posting it on twitter. the guy just likes to show off his money.
