It did rain hard here for a good while though. When raindrops sound like a roar on asphalt shingles, it's raining hard.

I got to see a bolt of lightning strike 3 times real fast in the same place about 25 feet in front of me.

I was sitting in my car watching the storm pass over after work when it happened. God bless America for that.

Yep. It's at the bottom of 4 hills. I grew up on 93rd and Q. My paper route was there. In winter storms my brother and I would grab snow shovels and go push cars up those hills when they'd get stuck. Sometimes we'd make 2 - 3 hundred bucks between us.

The '75 wedge tornado went right through there as well.

They're showing a lot more street flooding on the 6:00 news as people send their pictures in.

It definitely rained hard for a while here. Like I said it's not often you hear it on the roof.

They said on the alert that part of I-80 in Omaha is down to 1 lane due to water on the road.

All this rain the past month has got to be pissing MUD off. I was watering every other day last year at this time.

My lawn is still a disaster, but at least it's green.
