Came across this... thought y'all would enjoy it too. Great game, wish we'd won it!

I remember this game well... was in middle school. Watched it on TV in our basement with family.

My dad, ever the pessimist and always referring back to the Lombardi glory years, after game finished said what a disaster the Packers were... needed Washington to miss chip shot to win.

As for me, I loved the game... one of the highlights growing up with Packers of 70s/80s winning on MNF.

Loved Joe Gibbs as coach... along with Green, Monk and the Hogs... some great teams and players in the 80s.

Right, because they were on MNF about 6 times in those 20 years...haha those Packer teams were awful...just awful
