Game Thread: Flames vs Kings 1/19/15

The Kings are approaching the same number of OT/SO losses (12) as they are regulation losses (14).

Doesn't sound so bad, except they've already lost 26 games, and have only won 20.

It's no longer the argument about other teams peaking and the Kings pacing for a marathon. They are really struggling, one game it's defensive breakdowns and others it's outplaying opponents but leaving up to chance by going to OT/SO and losing. I am wouldn't be surprised if it's the last 3 years and the early season distractions that have caught up to the Kings.

Yep I have to agree. I think it's all the hockey games and the length of these past 3 seasons that are catching up with the team. They've lost their fire and drive. They say all the right words to the press but their bodies just aren't letting them follow up with their statements.
