I've always thought Allen was a good stay-at-home defenseman.

I like this trade for the Canes.

haven't seen too much of him since the Bertuzzi trade, bu he was th only piece of that deal I missed.

that was the year that solidified TSN as THE source for all things hockey.
before, I'd kind of flip back and forth on deadline days, etc.
I always suspected TSN was better, but that sealed the deal

Kypreos and MacLean are like Heckyl and Jeckyl...Sportsnet is a joke, TSN rules.

Edit: The only good things about Sportsnet are the regional hockey coverage and Evanka Osmak.

Same here. The only downside is having to listen to McGuire, but he's much better in studio than he is in live telecasts.

Our new ballerina is an expiring contract; Allen still has another year left on his deal, making 3 mill.

Can you believe that Bryan Allen actually had a NTC? Boy, Florida GM's have certainly been awesome over the years. At least Tallon is getting rid of all these NTC's/NMC's.
