Because we play Seattle, New Orleans and Baltimore on the road. Not to mention Atlanta who just beat New Orleans. We also play Green Bay and the Rams at home; that will be tough.

Tough to be sure. Need some guys to get healthy. When Sanders went down I was concerned without Kittle on the field. But you never know how things will play out. Atlanta has been bad this year. I don't think anyone saw Atlanta beating New Orleans at their stadium this year, especially the way they beat them.

Tough slate of games no doubt, but why assume we'll lose all or most of them? These teams are looking at the 49er's on their schedule, and thinking that'll be a TOUGH game to win.

We're still leading the West and the first goal remains the same, beat Arizona, Rams, and Seattle.

Never fear. The team has a dark cloud over it. Even when they get a good team almost every one of the top players gets injured. They can't catch a break. And how is it possible that your kicker, of all people, gets hurt in practice? Didn't think that was even possible.
How do you start 8 and oh and end up struggling just to be a wild card team?

We aren't struggling to be a wildcard team, the fact is we lead the entire NFC. Teams struggling include Dallas and LA Rams, not the 49ers. Every team has injuries at this point in the season.

Who's to say the other teams won't lose more games ?

Seattle certainly will. Many teams can beat them; unfortunately its only the 49ers who cannot. They'll be struggling for a Wild Card pick because they will lose a minimum of 4 more games. (GB, N.O., Balt. and Seattle). if they lose just once to Atlanta, AZ or the Rams, they'll be right on the verge of elimination at 10 and 6

Then wouldn't the 49er's still be in good position to get into the play-offs? But you've just about anointed the Seahawks the West AND No. 1 seed?!

No every team has the same number of injuries. At this point I would say that the 49ers have more than the fair share. Credit Shanahan for keeping the team competitive despite losing both tackles for multiple games. some teams would have collapsed. And on that play that resulted in a QB fumble and touchdown, the backup Center was in the game and missed a block on a stunt

As I said, they'd be fighting for a Wild Card at 10-6 with Minnesota, Carolina and every other team with at least a 5-4 current record. Keep in mind that the 49ers have the second toughest schedule left of any team in the league.
