Hedman was a beast last night, when he's playing like that, the Bolts are tough to beat.

Maybe the US should get rid of the testing requirements for international travel like most other non third world nations are doing and shenanigans like this wouldn’t be necessary.

If Rob Ford was still around shit like this wouldn’t be tolerated.

No Simmons and no Clifford tonight. I guess Keefe is banking on nobody being afraid of Corey "Steve (or Joe)" Perry and his counterpart Pat doing something stupid and it's Maroon 5 and a game.

Just a few days ago Keefe said the fourth line played their best according to their internal metrics when Clifford was on it. Now he's benched.

I'm not feeling particularly great going forward.

Could be a genius move by Keefe or an utter failure. I guess we'll find out in a couple of hours or so.

As an aside, it always drives me crazy when people use the Stanley Cup argument when determining how good a NHL player's career is. Pat Maroon has three Stanley Cup rings and he wouldn't make the top 1000 of players who have played in the NHL.

Robert Horry has more rings than Jordan.

Hey, correct me if I'm wrong guys, but wasn't it Horry who knocked Steve Nash out of the NBA finals one year with a pretty blatant body check?

Meanwhile Lindros, Gartner, Hawerckuk, Iginla and the Sedins have none.

The cup is a team trophy.

It was a clean check. Elbows down, mid-section principal point of contact. Even though it resulted in an injury it was deemed a hockey play and I agree.
