A little off topic here, however teams #1-4 all have a legit shot at the title game as it stands right now, I don't see any problems with that whatsoever. Many great games with all the undefeated teams to be played yet, this has been a great year insofar as the quality and parity of teams and the matchups

Teams 1-5. If Misery wins the SEC they go

True but unlikely, not with all certainty but I just don't see that going down, we've seen some stranger things happen so far...

if both oregon and FSU continue to win out, I would bet the flip flop the next few weeks.
Oregon plays 5-1 BCS #12 UCLA while FSU plays 3-3 NCSt. oregon gets the points.
Oregon has a bye while FSU plays BCS #7 likely 7-0 Miami. big points for FSU
Oregon then plays current BCS #6 Stanford who will either be 7-1 or 6-2 depending on their Oregon State game. if they win I would guess Stanford stays about the same but the 6-2 Stanford would likely drop to 14. FSU will play Wake forest who is floating .500. 4-3 now plays Miami and Syracuse before FSU. so points to Oregon again.

After that I think Oregon stays ahead with utah, Arizona and Oregon State (3 teams with winning records) vs FSU slate of Syracuse, Idaho, and Florida (2 of 3 with losing records)

Will take the puerto rican

No you're #3 LOL

missouri I think has the toughest slate to go with SC, surging Tenn, Ole Miss and A&M still to play

So FSU and Miami play each other so drop 1 undefeated
Texas Tech and Baylor drop 1
Missouri and Bama would meet in SEC title so drop 1

Could still finish with Fresno, Northern Illinois, Ohio State, Oregon, 1 ACC undefeated, 1 Big 12 undefeated and 1 SEC undefeated. 7 undefeated in the end??

Imagine that. The media pumps up a historic middle of the pack team from the PAC12 that suddenly has finished in the top 5 - 3 of 4 years, has lost 7 games in 5 years all to top 10 teams, won their first Rose Bowl in 95 years, gave team SEC their best NATTY game, is changing the way the CFB game is played, won 3 BCS games, and is the #2 or 3 team in the country.

Well thats a shocker. How dare the media mention lil ol Oregon for a few minutes when they could be talking about Notre Dame or the SEC.

Watch your damn mouth!

Just a thought, not a slight to any team but who's to say Bama doesn't drop with maybe a close game or from strength of schedule in future teams falling off the map

I get increased expectations but you cannot call every team not the NC a failure. Especially in the current system

Hell, one of our teams could get left out while doing everything we can do to get in. That's not either of our fault but the dumb people will look back and say your team sucks because you didn't win the championship

:suds:

I never said that you should call every team that doesn't win an NC a failure. In fact, I said just the opposite... expectations are different for every team. For a team ranked in the top 3 at this point in the year, a failure to win an NC would be a disappointment. Fresno State, on the other hand, would likely be happy just to be able to play in a BCS bowl game.

I doubt bama falls unless they lose, LSU and Auburn only teams looking like challenge but Tennessee has found a little life and they hate eachother sooooo...

The disappointment should be short lived. I've felt the sting of just missing out on the chance to either play for or hoist the crystal.

Doesn't mean season was a bust. If it does those are unrealistic expectations no matter who you are.

I agree, win or lose, we do get a lot of coverage.

Not necessarily a good thing either.

fuck man, tell me about it.

At first I thought it was cool to be mentioned all the time, popping up in every third post by plorsters....

Couldnt imagine being ND fan.

Oregon will play in the NCG if they go 13-0. It does not matter what any other team does or doesn't do.

Oregon can use the narrow BCS slight to motivate them for the UCLA, and Stanford game.

The coaches will keep Oregon #2 as long as they keep winning. SOS will doom FSU.

It's all good.

I wonder if Bama can beat Tenn as soundly as Oregon did a few weeks ago?

Espn has a hard on for fsu. Fact. Fsu is basically the USC of the east when the media is looking for a new cock to suck. If the ducks and fsu go undefeated...the noles will play for the natty, just look at the bcs poll as the first punch in the mouth.
