We scored bigly with Chris DeBurgh as the back up. He'd just released the Spanish Train album. Wasn't long after he was a headliner.hell ya. supertramp had some hits. matter of fact, roger hodgson's world tour this year, is pretty much sold out in all of the stops here in the US
Played foozball with Newstead once.I was 18, Summer Sanitarium Tour, summer of 2000, Metallica was the headliner. It rocked, but it was kind of a bummer because Hetfield had hurt his back while water skiing a few days before, think he herniated a disk, and so he had to miss a couple of shows, including mine. so jason newsted, the bass player, sang many of the songs in his absence, and some of the singers from the other acts covered in his place, including guys like jonathan davis of korn, and..sigh...kid rock. venue was kentucky motor speedway in sparta KY, it was brand-new, just opened.
