No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
I didn't mean to compete to start. Can't think of a position he could honestly compete for.

There are guys on the bench and there are guys on the 60 man at the alternate training site. Any of them outside of Mathis and Dietrich.By my count we've got 5 "let's see what they got" players in the lineup. Who would take Choo's place that isn't already out there?
I know but he can't play 2b he sure can't play 1st 3rd ss so it would be OF and got serious doubts about that.I didn't mean to compete to start.

We have seen some 2B learn to play the OF and even 1B over the last few years. He can try.I know but he can't play 2b he sure can't play 1st 3rd ss so it would be OF and got serious doubts about that.
I guess I just see it as a long shot versus no shot as far as someone in that position being able to show us something going into the offseason like Solak did last year. It may not make any difference in our future whatsoever, but there is always that possibility. We need all of the pleasant surprises that we can get.I literally had to look up names just to see who these guys were.
Still have no issue with Choo in the lineup.

I would have played Heineman over White.I know you do not have a problem with Choo. But, Heiniman is on the bench and he needs all the time at the plate he can get.
Don't say it . I know you don't. LOL
Also think it laughable that Choo was an easy trade. He could’ve easily said I don’t want to be traded and that would be the end of it. Much ado about nothing
Missed the game looks like Solak and Choo were about the entire offense. Would have liked to see Tejeda in the lineup. Not so sure about White as we still have Heineman.
Wonder if Solak just takes over 2B or is LF still in the mix. Her really needs one position and just play him. Thinking Odor is still an outright release likely end of season.
Also wondering if Santana season last year was the outlier. If so maybe Choo however no sense it makes is a potential signing for next year. Not seeing Choo, Willie and Santana all on true team next year
When did you ever see a 3'1" 2b play 1st? LOLWe have seen some 2B learn to play the OF and even 1B over the last few years. He can try.

You really think these owners would outright release Oder? Don't see it happening but that would be a fine 1st step and indication they are sincere about a rebuild. However a smaller budget in 2021 makes me believe it won't happen.
Would indicate they are not serious owners about winning but rather making money with least amount of investment.playing Odor in 2021 would both be incredibly stupid and yet another slap in the face to the rangers fan base.
His contract also includes a limited no-trade clause that would limit Texas from trading him to only 20 teams. In other words he's got a 10-team no-trade clauseAlso think it laughable that Choo was an easy trade. He could’ve easily said I don’t want to be traded and that would be the end of it. There would have been nothing easy about it. That is why they get paid the big bucks though. Lol. Seriously though, it doesn't matter if they traded him or not, he shouldn't be playing either way. Also think it laughable that Choo was an easy trade.
