agreed it has been fun and an appropriate send off I suppose.

The Wings have already acheived most this postseason than I could have hoped for but that doesnt mean I want them to bow out tonite. We cannot play like we did in game 5, we played that game like it was a throwaway game sadly.

Honestly...im too nervous to be nasty lol.

Although as the game goes on I know I will be sending chippy texts to my coworker that is a Hawks fan.

Of course I want a Wings win tonite but I also want a game where the officials do not dictate the outcome by any judgement calls either way. I just want them to both teams play with physicality, aggressiveness and passion.

Here is to a game game and is evenly officiated...and of course has the Wings scoring at least one more goal!

Heard on the radio today that it is only the second time in Stanley Cup Playoff history that the previous four winners of the Cup were also the last four remaining in the playoff bracket

Last time was 1945, but when there were only six teams to begin with... not really ironic.

This season, though. Yeah, I'd say that is pretty neat to see happen.

The biggest thing that has probably hindered it in many cases is that there have been a lot of situations where 2 or more of the previous 4 were won by the same team.
