The game is not being played in a football stadium, rather, it is a futball (soccer stadium).

Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX is the home of MLS team FC Dallas.

The FCS Championship Game contract to play in 20,000 seat Toyota Stadium originally was for three years 2010 to 2012...but it was extended for three more years until 2015.

After the contract expires, I would like to see this game moved to a true college football stadium. Preferably one of the shiny new small 30,000 seat stadiums, such as FAU's or Tulane's new facilities.

Yeah, it's a head scratcher...IMO, the games should be held in true college football stadiums......again, as I mentioned above, preferably in one of the shiny new smaller/intimate stadiums in the South. Again, Tulane's new Yulman Stadium opening next year in New Orleans, and/or FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, FL should put in bids to host these lower division championship games in the future.
