No way I list d12 after 1 year and Elden was all we had before Shaq, I hate floppers... :sadbron:

Well, I wouldn't even consider last season "playing" for the Lakers. So ya....

If I could have all these guys in their prime years, they would compete with anyone outside of LA. If I had these guys for their Wizard/Bullet years only, then this team would kind of suck.

PG- Pearl Monroe/ Mark Price
SG- Jordan/ Mitch Richmond
SF- Bernard King
PF Webber/ Rasheed Wallace
C- Wes Unseld/ Elvin Hayes

Notice how I don't have anyone who played for the Wizards over the past 10 years? There is a reason for that. I didn't think I needed a back up 3. Jordan and King would both play as much as they could handle and Richmond would back up both spots.

Got ya. This is easy for me as a Heat fan

PG- Tim Hardaway
SG- D-Wade
SF- Lebron James
PF- Chris Bosh
C- Shaq

And my bench would look something like this

1) Alonzo Mourning
2) Eddie Jones
3) Lamar Odom
4) Anthony Mason
5) Jamal Mashburn
6) PJ Brown
7) Mario Chalmers

Pretty loaded team

My lineup would be the same except I would start Zo. yes Shaq was better. But I just love Zo and everything he did for this team. I would have Pat Riley as the coach, and I would replace Mario Chalmers off your lineup and go with Baby Jordan!!!! Nothing like having a slam dunk champion as the 12th man. Im looking for dunks and only dunks when the 12th man enters the game.

also remove Jamal mashburn... i hate his ass. He bitched his whole time in Miami about wanting to take the big shot. Get's his chance to win a series vs New York... wide open. Then defers to Clarence freaking Witherspoon. Of course the shot bricks, and New York beats Miami again.

Besides any all-time Heat roster without G-Money on it, is not right.

replace mashburn, give me rice.

Lakers starting 5 would mop the floor with anyone elses starting 5.

I think the Celtics starting 5 could beat the Lakers starting 5. No one else would come close to those 2 teams though.

This team lacks depth, but they could compete with any if you limit it to 5 and would be ridiculous defensively. The Pieces would fit pretty well too:

Chicago Bulls:

PG: Rose
SG: Jordan
SF: Pippen
PF: Rodman
C: Noah

You may be able to get some better bigs from back in the day. I was having a hard time between Noah/Chandler, but gave the nod to Noah since Chandler didn't get good until he left Chicago.

Yeah yeah, 2 centers. Who fucking cares. Thats the best starting 5 of any team all time right there folks. Throw if the logo and Shaq coming off the bench as the greatest 6th and 7th men ever to boot.

I thought about my Laker team and I thought about starting Shaq at the 5 with Kareem and Wilt as a triangle zone defense.

Shaq would be mostly baseline and Kareem and Wilt on either side of the paint operating from restricted area to FT line. Rotate 2 to the ball side of the paint covering each other against baseline drives. Kareem and Wilts long arms might aid in some mid range to perimeter Defense. Give me a long rotation of wing defenders to close quickly on the open shooter.

The Warriors would probably pick this apart but nobody is driving the paint. We will probably also be weak to cross court passes but we are talking about two 7 footers with huge wingspans clogging a lot of those lanes.

Good look getting a rebound and we will have either a dunk or foul every play on the other end.
