Fav animal to Hunt?

Mine has to be the Priarie Chicken and Sharptails, 2nd pheasants, and 3rd would be ducks and geese.

I haven't had the opportunity yet but; want to in this order

1. Elk 2. Grizzly 3. Mountain lion

I've hunted Elk twice. Didn't get one the first time, but a buddy of mine in the party did. I got one the second time we went a couple years ago.
I've been Black Bear hunting once and got one. Due to the vast majority of their diet is berries the meat was fabulous.
I've never really considered Mountain Lion. It's not something someone would eat is it?

Not sure, I just want a the Mountain Lion cuz they make bad ass rugs....

I actually have Elk hunting ground in Nebraska, but it's cheaper in Colorado and would be more fun IMO...

I would like to have one mounted and laying on a flat rock or something I could put up on the wall. I've got a bobcat mounted but it's standing up and kind of gets in the way sometimes.

I own some ground with a few buddies in Boyd Co. Ne. I got my elk about 20 miles from where our land is. I've only been lucky enough to get the one permit though. I apply every year. The elk feed on our land sometimes but it's not legal to shoot one there.

My parents have land in cottonwood canyon south of North Platte...... I've seen a herd of about 40 on our land..... I haven't applied yet because I want the experience of taking one in the mountains...

They're tough to track in the mountains. We were on horseback in Colorado and couldn't keep up with the herd. They would be on one mountain one day, so we'd ride over there and they be on an entirely different mountain by the time we got there. They move real fast.

That $800 bucks went down the tubes. That was in the late 90's so it's probably a lot more now.

Yup

go to Africa and shoot a baboon it almost like killing a human but then you want to kill another and another baboon becuase they fuck up you stalk.
