Hey I was hoping to open a discussion of some players to watch out for this season and share some ideas and notes with everyone. if your fans of these players teams and know a lot of whats going on feel free to chime in.

New Orleans Saints:

Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills are both gone and you know this is a passing team so somebody is going to get a lot of touches 2-3 players im looking at is WR Brandin Cook seems like the #1 reciever, Brandon coleman 6-6 reciever could possibly be jimmy graham type and maybe Josh hill the #1 rated TE on their depth chart.

Chicago Bears:

Brandon Marshall is gone and we know cutler throws so Kevin White looks like a good grab

Ravens:

Jacoby Jones is gone and we know that Joe Flacco likes to bomb it downfield so im thinking WR bernard perriman to get those touches, they also used a high draft pick on TE Maxx Williams possible high volume targets

Houston Texans:

Andre Johnson is gone and DeAndre Hopkins caught 76 passes 1200 yards and 6TDs at a #2 WR so with andre gone you would think he would get the monster share of the catches possibly also look at their high draft pick WR jalen strong. This is risky because their QB situation isnt that good

Lions:

Bush is gone and Bell is hurt they used a 2nd round pick on RB Ameer Abdullah so he might see the field a lot but they are a pass first team so who knows

Finally Broncos:

Thomas left to jacksonville and the broncos signed pass catching TE owen daniels This team throws the ball left and right I would definitely look to draft owens high dare I say second to Jimmy Graham? I remember when they signed Emmanuel Sanders last season and I was right to draft him early hopefully this is almost the same case

Those are my thoughts/ notes what other sleepers you guys got?

QB Andy Dalton - top 5 fantasy QB in 2013 had a down year last year with a lot of his weapons missing games current ADP 174

RB Reggie Bush - I think he'll be a nice safety valve for Kaepernick i wouldn't be surprised to see him get 225+ touches this year current ADP 120

WR Brandon Marshall - Been a top 10 fantasy receiver his whole career a steal at his current ADP of 61 i don't care who is throwing him the ball.

TE Vernon Davis - Not really sure what happened to him last year :noidea: current ADP 161

fan75, love your enthusiasm, and I hate to be the guy to tell you this, but many of the players you listed are not sleepers. (I guess it ultimately depends on what your definition of a sleeper is?) For most a sleeper is a player flying under the radar in the late rounds.

A few of the guys you have listed are sleepers. But if you wait on some of the others you'll miss out. Here's the current ADP (average draft position) on some of them:

Brandon Cooks - 39th overall (WR16) - 4th rounder.
Kevin White - 87th overall (WR32) - 8th rounder.
Breshad Perriman - 112th overall (WR43) - 10th rounder.
DeAndre Hopkins - 38th overall (WR15) - 4th rounder.
Ameer Abdullah - 85th overall (RB33) - 8th rounder. (In fact, just saw him go in a draft 43rd overall (4th round) yesterday, so his value may be rising.)

Same for Dunces' list. Martavius Bryant is going in the 6th round, and Jonathan Stewart is going in the 4th.

My point is not to embarrass, but if you want to target them personally, you may miss out unless you know when they are typically being drafted. That's where ADP helps.

Joe took the words out of my mouth.

.....but I do love Brandon Coleman!

I was looking into Chris Matthews but he hurt his shoulder last night. Not sure of the damage.

As much as Ameer is flying up the boards, and as much as I don't want to trust his multiple surgeries, Joique Bell could be useful...hope he keeps plummeting.

I think Stevie Johnson could be the Chargers #2.

As for TE... if you don't take Gronk or Graham, I advise to WAIT. Sure Kelce might be great (still the Chiefs passing game), sure Olsen gets volume (more than six TD once), but I think getting any others ten rounds later is monster value. And a handful could easily be the 3rd best TE.

I don't pay attention to ADP ,because you might miss out on some good players in IMO !!!!!!!! I think kevin white and bernard perriman will play some good ball this year, may take them a couple of weeks to get in form, because they're injured now, but i think they will produce. Brandin cook and Deandre Hopkins are the top wrs on there teams, i think they will produce, especially for hopkins if the Texans can start the right qb and thats a big IF!!!

I don't pay attention to ADP

Dawg, ole friend, I think you may be missing my point about about ADP? I'm not suggesting you use it as a litmus test or baseline for who to draft. But ADP gives you an estimate on when players will be drafted. That kind of information allows you to structure your draft to your advantage.

The guys over here already know this, but in a keeper league, I love the head case Dorial Green-Beckham. Of course he has to sat out of jail...

and i would say that ADP eliminates most players listed above as being Sleepers

I don't know if its his build, hair or college jersey number - but when I watch Jones play, Marion Barber III jumps into my mind. Only thing missing is a nasty stiff arm.

Just drop one of my kickers to pick up matt jones, i was looking back at washington's 2015 draft and they drafted a bunch of offensive lineman, like the cowgirls did a couple of years ago and im assuming they're in the works on building a oline like dallas line, but here's what made me really pick up jones. Its Alfred morris 4th year and next year will be his last year of his contract, i don't think Washington will signed him back and then they can just drop jones in that position! !!!! JMO!!!!
