Squishy Mac - 15-16 points depending on your scoring system, O'Connel 12-13, Cooper Rush 17-18

that real answer was they'll all suck, but Rush sucked the least. Raiders played him pretty well- even if he did do slightly better than Cousins did

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Been vewwy vewwy quiet lately!

Let's get some thoughts here.

I think Pierce should get another year, if not 2 or 3. I don't know what anyone was expecting from a team utterly devoid of offensive talent outside of 1 stud rookie TE, one above average athlete 2nd year TE, and a decent slot receiver? Hell even the defense only had Crosby and a couple decent LB's. QB's were awful, RBs were atrocious, line was MEH at best.
Sure some could be blamed on coaching, but you can only do so much with a pile of steaming shit that has a few peanuts in it
Get the guy a QB, a real RB, go 2 tight as the base set and just play old school football for a year or two. Ball control and defense. He can do that

I agree about Pierce, been a fan of his old school style from the start.

Don't think it's gonna happen, tho.

I think he'll go back to being a DC and proving it ala Brian Flores. In the end, I think he'll be ok.

I think it comes down to who the Raiders think they can get. I wouldn't get rid of Pierce unless an actually respected offensive mind actually wanted to coach for the Raiders.

So Ben Johnson?. Yay?? The other offensive minded 'hot candidates' being talked about don't exactly instill much confidence, and he'd be yet another rookie HC they try and likely burn out

I personally think Pierce coached his way into keeping his job. It's probably not a deep QB class in next year's draft but you do have defenders and RBs to choose from.

I'm just not sure what the Raiders should do at QB.

Go after Darnold, Flacco, or, Winston, any of those the will keep the team respectable enough to not be an embarrassment, draft multiple QB's in the mid rounds or virtually anywhere other than than 1st this year, and just let the kid(s) sit and learn. If neither of them appear to have 'it' by end of the year, run it back and do it again.

Omfg, please no. If there's one sure fire bust QB that's gonna be drafted in round one, it's that clown.

Are you saying that HOFer's kids are not as good as their fathers were?

Kyle Petty
Pete Rose Jr
Mel Ott
Mark Howe
Anthony Dorsett
Barry Sanders Jr

Id imagine the name on the market will be JJ McCarthy and not Sam Darnold. I don't like Winston and a defensive head coach. Winston has no concept of game management imo. He is pretty YOLO. He single handedly gave the Chiefs the win against the Browns earlier this year. Might as well go Justin Fields at that point.

Well Winston would keep the games interesting and watchable, while maintaining strong draft position the following year :)

Ha, right??

Sadly the kid does have talent, but not like daddy, and not like he has been hyped to have. Or decisions, lacking arm strength and horrible attitude/ mental toughness

Carson Wentz could get that done
