Just have a seat, between Edwards, Renfrow and Rugs, Witten and Waller, all with a QB too scared to throw it in the first place, hes not needed

BIG news for Renfrow and Ruggs owners. Took Renfrow late in a 16 teamer. Could be a reception machine

found the guy that hasn't done his research on Bryan Edwards ^^^
:). It'll depend on Edwards short and intermediate routes, who is in the slot running the underneath, and who is outside the numbers. Renfrow is an Edelman/Welker clone, with a tiny tick of Cooper Kupp mixed in. Edwards is probably more of a prototypical WR #1, which Carr couldn't give two shits about how open he is on game day...apparently. TE's and short shit, long as Carr is the QB, the yellow bellied prick hasn't thrown outside the numbers in years. NOT happy or proud of it, is what it is.

Haha, touché!! well, handing the ball to the best player at his position is one thing, getting a QB to throw it to him, is quite another. I know damned good and well Edwards is a better athlete, pure WR than a guy like Renfrow..Ruggs is too. But so was Cooper, and Carr couldn't get him the ball worth a damn after '16 either.

As someone who has 41% Edmonds and 16% Drake in best ball to this point, I'm totally okay if Drake goes down.

And as far as handcuffing that was brought up, I think its more beneficial to take the handcuff(s) to players you don't already own. There's more value in potentially having ANOTHER stud fall into your lap instead of just the potential of replacing one.

I always go back and forth on the cuffing strategy, prefer to avoid it if at all possible

I'm all in on getting any and all elite handcuffs starting in round 8 or so

'Elite' being guys like Mattison, Murray, Pollard, Edmonds...

I feel like I'm on a deserted island since i DON'T think Mattison just walks into some mega workload should Cook holdout or get injured.
What makes him an 'elite' handcuff?

Does everyone really believe he's just going to become a 3 down back in Cook's absence and that Boone won't be splitting that 50/50?

If so, keep pumping Mattison, cause that seems like the perfect "zag when others are zigging" which is usually a winning strategy in fantasy

Me too.
Usually because the backup is not as talented as the starter.
That said, this might be a good year to handcuff, although....
...if your starter gets covid, chances are the backup will be subject to a quarantine as well. So now you just lost 2 players.

The handcuff subject is interesting and can have its pros and cons.
A lot of owners are so jazzed they landed all these handcuffs and are stoked about their preseason rosters.
Then week 1 is in the books and these same handcuffs and "late season gems" get axed for the undrafted high scorer of week 1. Then week 2, etc. Which leads me to believe they werent that valuable after all.

To cuff or not to cuff always comes down to league size, and roster size.
12 steamers with shallow bench's? No thank you, except maybe the rare instances like a Coleman/Freeman, Kamara/Murray situation.
12 teams with deeper benches, or anything 14 teams and up, yeah, its most likely a good idea wherever possible.bigger,

Cuffing is all about the systems... Some teams have elite running entirely because they have stud backs... If that is the case then cuffing might not mean much...

But if the system and offensive line is the reason for a team to have such elite running, even if they have an elite runner... then the next up mentalitiy is a good one...

Dallas, Minnesota, Saints and the colts are great examples of this...

While the giants, panthers are not good examples
