I’m not actually claiming the Raiders make a big jump, just that potentially they could give picks and cap space. AB demands is why teams don’t want to give up much in a trade, even given his talent.
ahh got yah, sorry read that wrong. Yeah i dont know what hes doing, or why rosenhaus hasnt squashed this show.......i mean for the steelers, we lose the best wr in the nfl for literally nothing now......which im sure he wanted to just screw us. but hes killing his own value now

So the Raiders decided that paying Antonio Brown made more sense than paying Mack and Cooper. I just don't know what the hell that front office is doing. I don't understand the purpose in paying a receiver that's 6 years older more money than they could have extended Cooper for when they have no chance of winning for the entire period of Brown's contract anyway.

Now if the Raiders follow up by signing Bell, that will raise some eyebrows.

Yea - that would be something. .... 2 ex-Steeler divas reunited in OAK - it would certainly put them in the conversation as a potential playoff team and raised Carr's stock. Not sure they'd have any $$ left to address their other needs though.

As a D2 owner, Hyde going to CLE/JAX last year was obviously bad for him. The year prior, Hyde had some decent enough games to be a good RB3 flex in SF.
For selfish reasons I'd like Hyde to be this year's version of CJ Anderson. (Was expecting the Panthers to use him tons more. Rams sure did.) Hope Hyde finds a team that gives him a role like that.

As someone who owns Hyde in 3 dynasty leagues,I like it also. Went from worthless to possibly useful.

Ha, well yes, I'd rather see him there in your situation than say Bell or Ingram, or maybe even Ajayi..but, about on par with most the rest, Coleman, AP, Etc..
Edited-i posted before reading the news...I'd still be worried
Well, I for one knew they had to sign someone since there was no way KC goes into the season with only 2 RB's - it would be foolish to even think that. IMO - Hyde is easily the least impact on Williams over several other FA's out there and his signing makes it pretty clear to me that Andy views Williams as 'their lead guy'. Anyway, I guess we shall see how that works out. Hyde's stock obviously went up (certainly over being unemployed), plus he lands in a great offense that may use him in some fashion. So, I'm certainly not saying he's not worth owning, especially for anyone who has KC RB's as a just in case insurance policy. ...

Well, my Raiders are jack Wang's. End o story.

I will just say this, they may have given up on Cooper and Mack because of pay and whatever..but...they did get a lot of draft capital in return the next two drafts, capital they did not trade away to get Brown. So at minimum, there's that. And now they'll surely stick with Carr, and likely make an effort at RB, wether via draft or free agency. Can't be Bell though, not with Brown's contract.

I am not that worried.

Williams was probably never going to be a 20 touch workhorse. But KC signing Hyde pretty much guarantees 50-60% of the touches.

I could honestly see that 60/40 split going the other way.
True, there were worse things that could've happened for Williams' situation, but the only way this can be viewed as a positive for him is from the viewpoint of, at least it wasn't Bell (or Ingram)

Not worried for Howard?
Nah.
What ever makes the Bears better. Pace/Nagy have done good so far.

As for owning Howard in D2, he should latch on somewhere.
There may be a decent amount of RB in free agency, but they aren't necessarily starters.
Howard has proven he can carry the load. He's only 24.

Unfortunately I'm not the one calling the shots.
So my opinion doesn't mean diddly.

Didn't @TREFF promise to win the lottery, buy an NFL franchise and hire all of us? Or at least, most of us?
