So, why should I be fearful if he couldn't out-play White?

It doesn't have anything to do with Singletary. Josh Allen is going to be the best running back on that team no matter who else is in the backfield with him.

Probably..depends on the back though..so far all we know is he's a better option than what they've had. Maybe Cook changes that? Long shot sure..but any coach worth his salt would surely be thrilled to not have to call his QB's number inside the 5 EVERY time..wouldn't they?

Well yes in theory, but it's really hard not to call the number for a guy that is 6'5" and 237lbs at the goal line even if he is a quarterback.

Marriott will start until the season is lost then Ridder will be given a shot to start, after that depends how bad or good he looks.
