They didn't use a first round pick on CEH for him to be Darren Sproles. I still think you guys are giving Bell way too much credit. He's just not very good anymore. I'm not even so sure he beats out Myles Gaskin for the Miami job. Once again I refer to this metric:

Bell's problems weren't strictly a product of a middling offensive line. Since the start of last season, he has produced 110 rushing yards below expectation given his blocking, the fourth-worst mark in the league behind Devonta Freeman, Peyton Barber and Todd Gurley. Freeman, Gurley and Bell all signed lucrative contract extensions, and each was cut after they disappointed while on those deals.
I just dont think he gave a shit enough with the Jets

In fact, you guys have some one score game fortunate situations. When the scales tip the other way it could hurt

The Seahawks have an unreal record in one score games going back to last season. It's really very annoying.

GB had it last year. I wish Seattle could have pulled one more late game win out. Packers would have had HFA last year.

Yeah, SF-GB NFCCG would've been much tougher for the Niners if played in Green Bay, and maybe the Niners don't even get that far.

well my thinking was that SF would have had to beat Seattle and in this hypothetical would have already been 0-2 against them. It is what it is

However ML has the Packers rolling and I still dont think we have come close to playing our best defensive football yet.

Well yeah I think it has to do with effort too..this isn't close to the old Bell but I think he can be better, he is no world beater and magically make the Chiefs A TON BETTER. What we do know to this point...CEH is not worth a shit in the RZ unless he is catching a ball out of the backfield. Anything is more productive than what he is doing...as far as the rest of the field. CEH will definitely be used more than Bell...his value would take a hit if they sign Bell.

Pettine is a great football mind, thought that was a great hire and he's been getting it done for GB.
even losing some good players along the way, changed that team's whole philosophy, imo, just as much as LeFleur did.

can't go run heavy if your D doesn't get stops

Run defense has been struggling but Clark means so much to the middle of that line. His absence has given us a change to see Kingsley Keke. That kid is gonna take over for Dean Lowry soon. I bet Lowry gets cut next year.

no doubt but speaking as a fan of a team that routinely used offense to slip by in the regular season...that defense is going to haunt you in the playoffs. Trust me.
My expectations are limited with this defense. Hope they are able to improve it by developing the young players. If they don't then I don't see them going far into the playoffs, but going to enjoy the ride in the mean time.

Definitely. The frustrating thing is wasting a year of brilliance. Look no further than 2011 for me

If it's KC, does CEH become a RB2?
