I could see that comparison.

I suppose, technically, he is somewhat replacing OBJ, but, that ain't his game, and Eli at this stage, ain't ideal fit for his game either

Wow that's a team friendly contract. Doesn't sound like the 49ers are committing to any of their RBs as their guy. Wonder if they draft one this year.

I'm thinking the same, wouldn't shock me at all at this point. I'm betting there's some shake up depending on preseason performances on the depth chart, possibly roster as a whole

Well you have to factor in last season too. 5 more regular season games plus 2 playoff games brings the total to 15 which is basically a season. There really isnt much precedent either since Rice never got another chance but was mostly ineffective at the time of his suspension.

Not saying its right or wrong but he missed or will miss an entire season of football. I wonder if he is allowed to participate in the offseason programs.
