I have always liked him more than his production warranted

story of my life when it comes to Crowder.

usually I like the guys in college a lot that I have a soft spot for in fantasy/NFL, but I didn't even know about Crowder until jay Gruden started talking him during his rookie year

You guys are probably sick of hearing me say this, but IMO a player has to seize his window of opportunity as soon as he gets one.

With Jordy gone, Cobb on the outs, and Allison hurt, I don't get the sense that either rookie WR solidified a role.

I like Allison. And my guess is one of the rookies gets the nod by default. Unless GB makes a move either by FA or rookie.
Both St. Brown and MVS flashed but they werent ready for a #2 spot. MVS hit the rookie wall hard.

And of you can't establish yourself with Rodgers throwing the ball (who is one of the most accurate passers ever), it may not get any better for either.

geez joe, take it easy, those guys are sophomores now, no longer rookies for you to pick on!!!

just my thoughts - the WRs that come in and produce year 1 are not the norm. these guys need some time to get used to the pros, the game is A LOT faster, even for the studs.

Maybe it's not fair, but guys who don't step up when called upon, no matter when they get their chance, usually end up being fringe players.

Guys like Fitz, Boldin, Hopkins, Diggs, and even JuJu more recently jumped on their chances. Guys who didn't didn't become elite.

Neither of those guys might ever make it to elite status, but, especially given Rodgers propensity for extending plays and ad libbing, I think its fair to give em a little slack/time to get in sync with Rodger's style and be where he expects them to be at all times. Hardly any of Rodgers #1's where good at all right out of the gate. Jordy seasoned for 3 years before getting a real shot and wasn't a world beater while phasing Driver out, and Adams was little more than an after thought his first two, despite nearly 100 targets his sophomore season.

All good points but disagree on Adams. Not looking at his history, but off the top of my head he seemed to be relevant even as a WR3 in GB. Tough for a WR3 on any franchise become relevant. That's kind of what I'm talking about.

Adams was so inefficient his soph season pretty sure a lot of people thought GB was going to cut his ass. He was on the chopping block in keeper/dynasty leagues from the fantasy perspective as well.

true, Cobb easily had the most targets, James Jones had 99, and Adams had 94. But if 94 targets from Aaron Rodgers isnt your time to grab an opportunity and shine, I dunno what is. And shine he did not..with thos 94 targets, he caught 50 for sub 500 yards and one score. now he's considered top tier. It can happen. Some just need a touch more polish and TLC.

Just for comparisons sake..MVS had 73 targets, caught 38 for over 500 and 2 trips to paydirt. He didn't exactly shine, but did more with less than Adams could as a sophomore

Bears signed Coat. Probably of no significance, but he did show he can do more than return kicks in NE. Could be an interesting part time compliment/supplement to what they do with Cohen

My guess is Patterson becomes the primary return guy.
Cohen reverses his field a lot.
Patterson seems like he'll at least move the ball forward after catching it.
Course, this is just my :2cents:. Probably why I'm not on the Bears' payroll.

Odell you Dawg...

With the D starters the Giants lost too, I'm guessing they win 2 games this year.

Odell Beckham rumors proved to be true, Baker has only himself to blame if he can't make it work with Beckham/Landry/Callaway/Perriman - nice group of WRs
Njoku at TE, and now Hunt/Chubb combo at RB

I'm 89% sure that the giants took the deal just so they wouldn't get Antonio'd by Odell next off season during their rebuild

Ca-Ray-Zee!

Browns suddenly a fantasy gold mine, Giants down to Barkley and pray for rain (as they say in MLB)

Adams year 2 was not good. He had a down year and lots of “fans” wanted him gone which is silly but still
