There's only one problem, the Jets don't have a need. Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Lazard. Sure Adams is an immediate upgrade over any of them, but he's not a NEED. Just doesn't make sense, other than to satisfy Rodgers/Adams. Bad football move
See you're looking at this all wrong. It doesn't matter if it's a bad football move because Aaron Rodgers is in charge of everything in that organization, so if he wants him, then they will jump through every hoop to get him. He's already the GM, the offensive coordinator, and the head coach, he might as well add owner to his titles.

My guess is maybe Jacksonville or Tennessee. That division is winnable and a piece like Adams could give either of those teams a bump.

Maybe not good from a fantasy perspective tho. But we may have thought that when Diggs landed in Buffalo. So ya never know.
This makes no sense whatsoever. Neither of those teams is a Davante Adams away from winning that division over Houston. Tennessee has Hopkins and Ridley on the outside and Jacksonville has Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis and they just gave Gabe Davis a 3 year $39,000,000 contract to come there. I just don't see how that would make any sense. I'm with Wil though that the Redskins probably make the most sense. I know they were heavily in on the Brandon Aiyuk debacle (I'm sure they are glad they didn't win that one right now).

He can’t. He owns the Bears.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the Bills and Chiefs “are all monitoring the [trade] situation and are more likely to get involved if the Raiders are willing to take on some of the money.”
Adams is owed $13.5 million for the remainder of this season. The money owed to him is what’s preventing some teams from being able to trade for him, but the Raiders can help push a deal across the line by agreeing to take on some of the remaining money on Adams’ deal

See, now this is the part that i don't get.
Adams contract has a relatively nice buy out after this season, and teams can always extend/restructure/whatever in between '24 and '25, so we're really only talking about the 13M give or take left this year. Why wouldn't Vegas gladly take on all of that to secure the best deal? They've already budgeted the salary to be paid in full all year long, its not like they have to come up with extra to cover it. If they don't cover it, what are they going to do with the savings? There's no one in free agency or whatever that they could sign and give it to.

Geesh..come Mark you goofy lookin' turd, just tell everyone that you'll eat the whole 2024 salary and be done with it.

Hopefully this Dianna from The Athletic is more reliable than some of her associates because (as an Adams owner) i would love either desitination.

Should I stay with Kirk cousin this week against Tampa bay or should I pick up garden minchew who plays at Denver
Denver's D is pretty good, and LV wont have D.Adams. I love Cousins but honestly his numbers dont warrant a start.

Who else out there?

Id avoid QBs vs Denver, Baker and Rodgers just looked rough vs them back-to-back weeks, minshew could lose the job to AOC at any moment during a game, and he hasn't thrown for more than 1TD in any game yet

Id rather go with Geno over Cousins and Minshew if you can

Or even Fields, maybe even TLaw

I'm assuming you don't have Darnold available? He's been good every week so far, surprisingly

well if there's something better maybe. But Denver's D has been more than legit, I sure wouldn't bank on Gardner friggin Minshew without D. Adams doing better than Rodgers and a full compliment of weapons did last week

Cousins has a far higher ceiling. He could also be knocked out in the second quarter.

If you want to make a move, I'd rather have Nix rest of season than Minshew.
