I missed Mixon to Houston. Lame move for them I think. He’s no better now than Singletary was, arrow is pointing down, and character is iffy on a team that had good chemistry.

They had a lot of money to spend. Rookie QB on a contract. This is time to make big moves and I think they will...maybe an EDGE but I thought they had a great opportunity to get a big time RB. Mixon is OK but nothing special. They definitely need another back, FA or through the draft.

He ran out of gas as the season went on. He'll be solid as a backup for them.

I was just listening to the talking heads on a Dallas radio station (one of the better ones), and they came up with a few scenarios:

FA: CEH, AJ Dillon.

Draft: Wait 'til the 2nd round and go for Jonathon Brooks or Trey Benson.

Personally, I think signing Penny to an incentive laden contract is not a bad idea. Not only for the Cowboys, but a buncha other teams.

I mean I get it from a fantasy standpoint, but did you watch him play football last year? He was awful. He was even awful with Aaron Jones off the field. 3.4 ypc and 2 rushing touchdowns from a guy that's supposed to be the pounder. Not very inspiring.
