The Pats would make out like bandits if they got a mid first for Garoppolo. I guess they'd add to the defense, but man what if they added one of the offensive weapons (Fournette, Cook, Williams, Davis, Ross)? Whew.
Makes sense that the Eagles are looking for WR help.
- According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, "several league sources anticipate" the Eagles making a run at impending free agent Alshon Jeffery.
- The Washington Post reports the Rams, Eagles, Bears, Cowboys and 49ers are all expected to have varying degrees of interest in free agent Pierre Garcon.
Wow, that's crazy.
Good FA's & a decent crop in the draft. A lot of rotational RBs out there are probably getting pretty worried.exactly y i think guys like rashad jennings r done, theres some good market backs available

"There is no hesitation for us to have him," Colbert said. "Hopefully, his entire career." Bell indicated last summer he would seek $15 million per year in long-term talks, a number that has likely gone up, and a number that would certainly frighten a modern general manager when considering a running back. Working in Bell's favor is his age (25 on Saturday), and complete dominance whenever he's at full health. The problem, of course, has been his health, as well as his off-the-field issues. The off-the-field concerns probably won't factor into the talks as much as is assumed, as any future suspension would void Bell's guaranteed money.
Signed thru this season, he has a 13 million plus cap hit this year, so yeah might be tough to fit both those salaries into the cap, but the Steelers do have 36 mil to spend this year so should be doable, but kind of puts them in a bind to sign anyone else since they need cap space for the draft and a reserve for injuries.Steel city has some tough dealing to make. Isn't A. Brown up for a contract as well ??? They will need some serious cash to keep both. .....
Not touchin this guy ever again... His injury issues have sent me scrambling for waiver options for 2 seasons in a row.. Most of the time I ended up streaming the position.
