I'm pretty sure it was a forced resignation. Dunno what Zimmer thought, but I can certainly see Spielman doing something along those lines.

2nd in fumble recoveries
8th(t) in sacks

It's really not that hard to figure out why Turner was forced to resign.

My point was that the Vikings are 5-2 because of their defense. The offense is trash. Shurmur may not be the savior that we need to get the offense on track, but the Vikes were already at the bottom of the barrel. There is no where to go but up.

Yeah, I like Norv. I look at what he did with Brees and Rivers in SD.
Do I hope he ends up with the Bears?
If the Bears play like they did on Monday, no.
They actually looked like a real NFL team on both sides of the ball.
If they go back to their old way of doing things... I'd welcome a guy like Turner, sure.
