What are people's thoughts on this? I get it that it happens at every sporting match but what can/should be done about it? Can anything be done about it?

I'd say better security but then no matter the level of security you wouldn't get everyone. Hard to say what can be done but people got to be smarter than to run out on the field.

I don't thing the Premier League wants to go back to the days of fencing etc. I think the most likely is points deduction and/or games behind closed doors.

They were mentioning the points system and making them play behind closed doors. However, fans wouldn't show up once that ban was lifted most likely... That is the best solution though
