I'm baaaaaaack....
I was being very very sarcastic.
We don't put up with that shit around here.

lol,, I didnt even read the second half of you post, I am sleeping at my desk. But honestly I understand that though if it is a "tour" shirt. Who the fuck wants to carry a shirt around with them? I still think that is lame, but I understand it.
I dont even wear band shirts anymore really. That died back in like my senior year of H.S.
46, what is the name of that thing in your avy? I remember you wanting to get some ink like that... Those things look sick (in a good way).
On rare occasion, I've worn a tour shirt from the same band that I saw years back, proudly proclaiming "yeah, I saw them on THAT tour." I don't see any problem with that.
Wear a shirt and tie. Loosen the tie a bit and roll up the shirt sleeves.
Poor Doom is gonna be so confused that he'll wear a Kilt, some flip flops, and a Celtics jersey.
not always true saw a rags jersey in the crowd during game 1.Wear the habs proud doom
HAIL SATAN!!!!!!
The better rule in my opinion would be to wear whatever the heck you want (AS LONG AS YOU ARE DECENT IN PUBLIC). Is it ideal to wear, say, Sharks gear for a Rangers/Panthers contest? Probably not, but you paid your dues when you bought a ticket. So the Habs aren't in the finals; it doesn't mean you support them any less, and at least the other folks know you are a hockey fan, doubly so since you are willing to buy tickets to games not involving your team.
The only two rules in my mind are:
A) If you aren't wearing an opposing jersey, you should probably cheer for the home team at the game. Less likely to get beaten up by drunks that way (If you ARE wearing an opposing jersey, be on good behavior, though you still might get beaten up by drunks anyway).
B) Don't wear non-hockey jerseys for teams that aren't playing or in the same city/region. So a Lakers jersey to a Kings/Devils game would be fine, but a Packers jersey for the same game not so much.
BTW, if anyone knows of the top of their head...
Does Montreal still hold the record for most OT wins in a playoff? I think they won 9 games in OT that year.
Well, you may get some crap just because of the LAK history with the Habs. People will probably think you're playing on that. I don't see any issue with it, though I constantly question those people at games.
I believe they do own that record doom but if my memory serves me right I think the hand won 10 ot games in 93
I also believe that was the year Dale Hunter ran Turgeon into the boards following his winning goal.Hopefully wearing the Roy jersey gets a kings stick curve measuredYa, it was 10. Man what a weird Playoff that season was.
86 Point Sabers beat 109 point Bruins. 4-0
87 Point Islanders beat 119 point Penguins. 4-3
85 Point Blues beat 106 point Blackhawks. 4-0
The Top 4 teams by points were
119 Pittsburgh
109 Boston
106 Chicago
104 Quebec
The Final 4 in the Conference Finals were
102 Montreal
99 Toronto
88 Kings
87 Islanders
Montreal was the 3rd seed in the Adams Division. 4th seed overall in the East. 7th most points in the NHL, but they had Home Ice in every Series after the first.
Also I forgot about this...
Adams Division Finals
Game 1 Buffalo 3 Montreal 4
Game 2 Buffalo 3 Montreal 4 OT
Game 3 Buffalo 3 Montreal 4 OT
Game 4 Buffalo 3 Montreal 4 OT
5 of the 10 Overtime games won by Montreal were by a score of 4-3. Just a weird year...

This might be a dumb question but...
I am going to Game 3 of the Finals and was wondering if there was any protocol for wearing your teams gear at a Finals when they didnt even make the playoffs? I know I am going to get a bunch of crap for wearing my Canadiens jersey (though in LA they might not even know that the Canadiens beat them last time with all the InstaKing fans), but was wondering if there was some kind of Etiquette when it comes to this?
