Who do you have? I like to hear from the source if you will in these instances.

Yes, no way around it so I won't (pardon the pun) duck the obvious. I did create this thread not only for y'all . But also to mention Royce Freeman, Oregon's true freshman RB.

"Rolls" Royce Freeman is a 6'1" 220 LB powerhouse.

He is going to turn heads in the PAC in his Freshman year.

Apparently he is looking a head and shoulder above Thomas Tyner as well as Byron Marshall. Both of whom had impressive stats in 2013 despite sharing the ball with DATS.

He is very fast and a big RB who has been tearing up fall camp.

I am excited.

Should be fun. I just hope that our DT's and MLB don't suck ass and lose us the game.

Nice. A weapon on the outside could go a long ways for a good improvement over last year .

That and staying healthy.

Is he expected to play?

Jabrill Peppers - going to return punts this year and starting nickle

Mason Cole - making a good run at earning the starting LT spot

Both of our 5 star RBs are impressing and will see limited playing time due to depth, but will not redshirt.
We will be starting 3 true Freshman/JUCO players on D - Dominick Sanders, F, in particular has wowed.
We have a little speedster dude, Isaiah McKenzie, who may be our 1st string returner.

Would be nice if we had those reports, but Pete is more closed than Sark was. Practice isn't open to the media and no one is really talking much.

We have heard that two true freshmen will contribute at WR (which makes you wonder what's up with the vets there huh?) in 6 feet 5, 217 pounds Brayden Lenius who is likely going to see time simply because outside of Kasen there is no tall, big receiver and Dante Pettis who has turned some heads. Only 6' 177, but can play inside or outside.

We of course have heard about Budda Baker and his progress, but is he going to see substantial game time because he has been that impressive, or because they are that thin in experience in the secondary? Probably more of the latter. That said, there are 4 other freshman that are expected to see game time in that secondary. Better be some fast learners in that bunch. That's for sure.

If I was in charge (and this is one of many reasons people would not let me be in charge) freshmen would be ineligible to play varsity football. But hey - in this day and age of talk of paying players, maybe going back to freshman ineligibility will be back on the table soon!
