Just because Eichorst does not deal with the press very much (which the article points out we knew coming in) doesn't mean he is that way with employees. He certainly doesn't spend his days hiding in his office.

When other coaches are saying that they don't have access to him and don't have the relationship with him that he has said before then what is he doing?

I don't know. Barfknecht didn't say who those coaches were...not that he would, but it makes me wonder. I am just going off of what I see, and what I see is that within the department, Eichorst certainly is not invisible.

Nah he doesn't make it down to visit us very often. Now that you mention it, I am a little upset that he hasn't been more visible in our day to day operations.

Nothing against Barf but I haven't look at one article he's wrote for several years and I don't know why anyone would. Besides I wouldn't believe anything Barf puts in print and the most of Nebraska fans shouldn't either. Barf maybe needs to state who these coaches are or Nebraska AD staff and then ask Eichorst about it. Write a feature and maybe then Barf could gain a little credibility.
