Facing no dominant D-lines

Seahawks O-line has been better when the current starters are together, AND we are not facing any dominant defensive lines looking at the potential match-ups in this playoff run... That's actually a huge thing when you look back at this season, our roughest day's offensively have been facing those solid pass rushing D lines... I think our O is gonna be fine, our D is gonna need to be on point though, we HAVE to play better on the defensive side...

GB game was a fluke, that was just strange from the start... San fran game our O was fine, our D let us down at times, that's the area I feel we need to play better...

Niners had an almost historically bad run defense and their line dominated our OL when we tried to run.

Face reality, our OL and run game is 75 yards PER GAME worse than 2014 and we couldnt run on a team that gave up 172 yards per game.

I think Seattle's chances are okay, but it's really about the matchups.

Atlanta = I actually am fine with this matchup. Yah they almost got us in Seattle but we can get to Ryan and their D really only has Beasley who we can contain via an extra TE or RB help. Ryan has to prove he can win in the playoffs and defenses usually always prevail in the playoffs/Super Bowl, and Atlanta's defense outside of Beasley/Trufant (injured) is terrible.

Detroit = One of the worst pass rushes in the NFL and not very good in run support either. I like our matchup here, plus they have to come to Seattle.

Dallas = This is a bigger concern but Seattle is still one of the best run stuffing teams. PFF has them ranked #1 in this category. Dallas' run defense is very good, but I think we can get some good passes against them and IMO Graham is a nightmare matchup for this team.

NYG = ONLY saving grace is this would be in Seattle. NYs line is extremely good and I think NY will draft up a VERY conservative gameplan for Eli, limiting his chances for mistakes. I feel of all the NFC teams, NY is the one that could keep Seattle below 15 points.

Green Bay = Another ONLY saving grace is this would be Seattle. I don't think the beat down happens like it did the first game, but GB is EXTREMELY hot right now and Rodgers always dials in come playoffs. Seattle's last win against GB in the playoffs was EXTREMELY fluky.

Most preferable path = Detroit (obv) + Atlanta (away) + NYG (home)

Our offense just isn't a good running offense right now... The biggest factor is gonna be protecting Wilson, and we couldn't do that worth a dam vs good D lines... I"m hopping we can establish a little running game, but I don't think that's our identity right now.. I feel comfortable with Wilson, he's been solid in the playoffs ...

I think the Seahawks got this. Can't wait until tomorrow, I'll be disappointed as heck if they lose, but I'll be OK with it because I'm confident they'll be better next year. This has been kind of a transitional year for the Seahawks. Rebuilding the OL, replacing Lynch, enduring injuries, after making the playoffs, every thing else is gravy in my mind, yet I still got high hopes for the season.

Go Seahawks ,oh yeah!

Might not have too. If Russ takes the brace off "big if" he can use his legs again to scramble which could open up the running game with the read option. That'll make play action so much more effective.

Yeah man, getting Graham involved is an absolute MUST!! I'm hoping we use him at receiver more and leave other TE's in blocking... Get that guy down field...

Agreed, and not late in the game where it seems like he does his most damage. Need to get JG involved early and often to get that momentum going.

Yeah sorry, should have said face not fave. Ansah is the Lions only elite dline player and he is not healthy.

They have other talent but the secondary can't hang with receivers long enough for anyone to really get pressure.
