The playing combination of players in the glorified scrimmage is not like it is in practice or in the scrimmages leading up to the glorified scrimmage. That is why it is meaningless. It is a show for the fans and that is fine. I am about actual preparation or the upcoming season. Having OLmen that won't be playing next to each other (barring injuries of course) in the upcoming season is not preparation for the season. The glorified scrimmage is a show for the fans. It means nothing for the upcoming football season. Look at the laundry list of "spring game stars" that don't do shit in the season. To me it is like the Pro Bowl, nice show for fans but means shit and I don't care about it. If you do then great for you. Still doesn't mean anything.

Pelini didn't want the game to be televised in the past, so I doubt if he changed his mind all of a sudden. He has no choice now. Maybe our new athletic director put his foot down on this one.

I think BTN televises all the spring games so Pelini probably doesn't have a say.

If I am correct we were to be televised last year if not for the weather.

If Pelini had a say, the game would not be televised, that's for sure.

If that's true then he still just doesn't get it.

I'm pretty sure he realizes they need every opportunity to get their brand out there.

You have to be a fucking moron not to want to televise one of the top 3 most attended spring games in the country.

I do know for a fact though that he has previously been instrumental in keeping it off television.

Even if it's a spring game, by that time people are desperate for any kind of college ball they can get. Doesn't matter who you're a fan of. I sat down and watched the majority of Alabama and Ohio State's spring games last year.

As much as Bo seems to hate everything why does he even bother with CFB at all, seriously, not saying he should give in so just simma donna. If he had any game at all in the recruiting aspect his job on the field would get much easier, he might actually look like he enjoys what he does for a living once and a while

I've often wondered that myself. He doesn't like the Blackshirts or seemingly any other Nebraska traditions.

GTFO then.

Bo has some Callahan and Cosgrove in him. All one has to do is look at last year's blowout losses, and his disdain for the blackshirts, and giving them out after fall practice.
