Only thing we lost with no replacement so far was Harbaugh. Boreland is not Willis but he was pretty darn good for a rookie and much cheaper. Hydes not Gore but he has potential and cheaper. Dockett and Tank can step in for McDonald and Smith.

We're actually getting younger and opening up a lot of cap space. The replacements we have for our vets leaving are pretty good as well.

Now it comes down to what do we do with this money and how good is our new coaching staff.

Seattle will be the favorite no doubt next year, but they are setting themselves up to decline in a few years with this move.

Cards will be the preseason darling that fails to live up to expectations. They just spent 8m per season on a guard when they still need a QB. That defense can't keep winning every game for them.
