If Washington releases: Alex Smith, Jon Bostic, Peyten Barber and Troy Apke there will be 55m cap space to work with.
Well that should happen.

I like it.....but......Robinson or Golladay would be better, steven sims jr looked like a completely different dude with TH.
NBC Sports' Peter King said Curtis Samuel could be a good fit in Washington's offense.
Samuel, an unrestricted agent who played both running back and receiver for Carolina, has a history with Washington offensive coordinator Scott Turner and head coach Ron Rivera, who isn't averse to bringing in coaches and players with whom he's familiar. King said Samuel could take pressure off Terry McLaurin after two seasons in which opposing defenses have keyed on him. Washington had no viable answers at the No. 2 receiver spot in 2020; Logan Thomas served as the team's No. 2 option in the passing game. Samuel would presumably see more opportunity in Washington than he ever did in Carolina.

I do like Samuel if that's who we land though

Not saying these moves will be made however, it was pointed out the cap availability with those cuts.Is this based on the 180mil floor?
Not bad, especially if they throw in 5mil more
Yes, 2 years 25m guaranteed. It's only 12.5 each season but all guaranteed. May be the only way he would sign it. Otherwise, he is likely looking for top OT money.![]()
Washington Football Team Free Agency Evaluation – Offensive Line
The Washington Football Team could potentially sign some offensive linemen through free agency and the NFL Draft for the 2021 season.riggosrag.com
would you take TW back for the right contract
Give me Samuel out of those contracts.
My FA targets prior to the 2021 Draft:
Offense:
G Brandon Scherff; 5 yr 75m (15m avg)
WR Will Fuller; 3 yr 27m (9m avg)
TE Gerald Everette; 2 yr 14m (7m avg) Team option yr 2.
Defense:
CB Ronald Darby; 3 yr 24m (8m avg)
LB KJ Wright; 3 yr 33m (11m avg)
Resigning our own in Scherff & Darby. Adding Fuller as WR #2 and Everette as our #2 TE. Adding KJ Wright to solidify our defense.
Like the thought process but I believe money says it one or the other at WR. Maybe slot competition comes from the draft? I would like to pry KJ Wright away from the PNW to be the guy in the middle. Another FA LB and another solid corner says we are top 5 defense next season. If Darrisaw is there at 19 I would grab him. Regardless of who our QB will be, we are setting him up for success by drafting our LT of the future and starter from day 1. Darrisaw, Charles, Rollier, Scherrf, Moses. Build in the trenches...Will Fuller.......that would be a great get with Samuel in the slot.
re-sign Scherff and Darby.
Focus on defense in the draft and grab a LT in the 2nd or 3rd round.
Apparently so... I thought between injuries and suspensions he would come in lower...I think you are way low on Fuller’s contract.
