I do feel for these black coaches who are jerked around with these token interviews. As someone who hires people, sometimes you do have to conduct a certain number of interviews, including with minority candidates, just to check the boxes, even if you know who you really want. So the league created this as much as any team frankly.

The Rooney Rule was put in place to at least have teams interview a minority. That's some major fence straddling there.....I honestly don't think there is some major systemic racism anymore to a major degree within sports. Not to say there isn't some though

It is an issue for sure. As I said, the intention may have been noble but the implimentation is so flawed that this is what it has become.
