I don't want to see my team win it - I hope they fail miserably as their actions in July directly led to the lockout and I find their ownership group evil. I hope Dany Heatley can work his magic on the new signings.

not a chance for me. every team is in the same boat. if anyone thinks its an asterisk at the end of the season then they probably shouldn't watch any of the season. in fact in a sense it may be a little harder to win in a shortened season due to the fact so little mistakes can be afforded over 82 games you can go on a 15 game losing streak and still win the cup but in a 48 game you go on a 5 game losing streak you may be done

That's a good point. Mine was simply that you know most fans of teams that come up just short of the Cup will endlessly argue with you that; "Your team only won because..." - unless they can repeat in fairly short order.

Well based on my own experience, I can say it's amazing how little you care that you championship is some how tainted due to a shortened season. It's still awesome.
