It's 1 game. Where he threw 2 INT's and almost threw 2 more.
Mark Sanchez when he was with the Jets is about what I think he'd compare to when they had a dominant defense and a good ruunning game.
Not sure what they were thinking having him start out throwing 4 times in a row. They should have eased him in handing off the ball and throwing a little later.
Did you watch the game? That first drive where we came out throwing and spreading them out with 4-wide threw the Panthers out of sorts and our offense was driving very well down the field. What the Broncos were thinking was 1) Let's get some confidence built up in our young QB by some easier throws early on in the game and show him we have trust in his abilities by not just running it every play. 2) The Panthers have a very young secondary meaning if there is a weakness to the Panthers defense it is attacking the Corners. When we have 2 top-10 WR's in the league on our team it makes sense to try and get them the ball.
And the plan was working great until the fumble. Really the offense as a whole was working great other than the turnovers.
