Michael Sam gets cut, clears waivers and the Rams sign him to the practice squad. Westbrooks can play any position on the DL, that is the determining factor.

I really think TEB is right. The depth at DE is so great that being able to play inside gives Westbrooks the upper hand. Quinn, Long, Hayes, Sims and Langford are all going to play over these guys. Would you rather have a 6th DE or a 6th DE that's also a backup inside? Let's be honest, 6th DE isn't exactly the most important role on the squad.

Also worth noting, looking at the roster on the Rams website there are currently only 5 DT's on the roster including Westbrooks.

TE is Bayer vs Cunningham and Id imagine Bayer is winning because Cunningham has bricks attached to his arms where hands should be.

RB is Chase Reynolds and Trey Watts and that is probably Reynolds to lose

Depends on what they want out of their TE. Bayer blocks about as poorly as Cunningham catches.

I think after that Browns game that Watts has the edge on Reynolds. Watts showed some real ability Saturday, whereas Reynolds only contributes on ST. Watts could provide some of the versatility that the Rams were hoping for from Pead.

Bottom line, whoever is No. 51st, 52nd or 53rd player to make the squad better hustle their ass because when Stedman is off suspension, they will make room if injury hasn't done it for them.
