Actually Goff. I havent seen Hackenberg #1 yet. Both are likely to be top picks, but the pt stands. They have a guy that may not start 30 spots above projected top 10 guys

Well Barrett like I said started in his first year and had the 2nd best QB Rating behind Marriota. Goff might be a prospect now but doesnt mean he is a better player at least at this point. Also, Barrett is a dual-threat guy, is more dangerous at the college level. Goff should have a hell of a year though.

They have Jones back in the 70s or 80s so they are guessing Barrett will start and they should. He gives them a two dimensional offense rather than one with jones.

Also to the pt. Name me a QB that did not have success at OSU. Which is more likely:

a. OSU has a great system and surrounding players
b. OSU has 3 of the greatest QBs in history at 1 school

Barrett had the argueably the best single season in Ohio St history as a QB. They havent had a long line of greats, but still very impressive.

4000 total yards and 45 TD's

And Cardale only played 3 games cant really say that about him yet, he has great potential though.

I really believe that the passing game is a much bigger threat under Barrett than Jones.

Lets look at it this way:

Barrett started 12 games.
Passing - 2800 YDS 34 TD's 10 INT's
Rushing - 900 YDS 11 TD's

Brax started 36 games.
Passing - 5100 YDS 53 TD's 17 INT's
Rushing - 2000 YDS 32 TD's

Miller is a Buckeye all-time great, then look at what Barrett did as a freshman.

In all seriousness, Ohio St can be the clear #1 and realistically only have 3-5 of the best players in the nation. Actually having like 10-11 means they'll be beating the other Big 10 teams by 40 points.

That roster wasnt nearly as loaded, especially the defense. They didnt have "SEC Speed" quite yet

Well they do have a lot of player projected in the first 2 rounds, some underclassmen.

Whoops mistyped that lol. Well the season he had I dont blame him. Marriota is the only QB who had a better season and he was amazing winning the Heisman.

Upsets happen every year. Ohio State is just as vulnerable to a loss as the rest of the teams. Hell look at Bama in 2013, who could have imagined them losing the Iron Bowl that way. You never know what will happen. Ohio State has to be careful not to overlook anyone, because everyone is gunning for them
