Wtf!?!
100million to air one game!?! One WC game?
WC games are the TNF of the post season. And usually a shitty one at that. This is their 3rd year broadcasting WC games I believe and all of them were awful matchups.

The Potato Bowl of Professional Football.
Hard to even guess why they would sign off on a deal like that.
Id get it if they told the NFL it's was going to be MNF.If they were getting the WC game that NBC usually get then I would understand. But I would never sign off on that deal if they were told that they're getting the early Saturday game
If I didn't need the points for my Firefan league, there's now way I'd even be watching these crappy teams But I'm determined to keep my rating on that leaderboard so I guess I have to suffer thru watching Raiders vs Texans.

ESPN has been bleeding money of late, via loss of customers.
Pti was gold. Then they had to create 30 other shows that all sucked. I blame Brett Favre. His will he won't retire every yr for like 5 yrs began espn turning into tmzUntil ESPN figures out that no one wants to hear loud mouth assholes screaming homeristic points, they will continue to lose money.
The formula was simple and they excelled at it, then they started trying to create "personalities".
1) Show sports
2) report sports news
3) replay sports and highlights
THAT'S IT! I don't care what Skip or anyone else has to say. I don't care if someone has a funny catch phrase. Show me sports, show me highlights. Done.
ESPN's Chris Mortenson leaks that it's the Patriots fault.
"if we only had some deflated footballs to attract viewers"
