Out of those top 8, 3 of em on the schedule. Brutal

MSU seems to be a stretch. Bring back 11 total starters and 4 on defense. I do not see them as legit NC contenders

How many of these schools does your team play? Who are the biggest pretenders? Who are the actual contenders?

ACC

FSU
Clemson

B1G

MSU
tOSU
Wisky

PAC

Oregon
Stanford
UCLA

Big12

Oky
Baylor

SEC

Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina
Missouri

Clemson is replacing a lot on offense, you don't simply lose Tajh Boyd, and your top 3 receivers which includes Sammy Watkins and contend for a championship.

LSU will have a good year, but they're replacing too much and are too young for championship contention.

Texas A&M won't find another Johnny Manziel, can't have them in there this year.

UCLA plays 2, Oregon and Stanford. Luckily both are home games this year. Hopefully they play one of them twice.

I can't believe UCLA made the top 8 list. It's unreal for me. Now watch them go out and lay an egg this year.

BAYLOR is not a contender at all.
They cannot win on the road at all versus any team with a pulse.

They beat a 1-3 Kansas State team on the road last season before the wildcats figured things out a bit.

That might be their best road victory in the entire era of Art Briles.
It is exceedingly laughable if you look at their road wins (very few) in the last 6 or 7 years....and almost nonexistent road wins versus teams with winning records.

They will be good every odd year when they get the tough games at home.
This year they travel to Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia and likely go 0-3.

at this point you can't consider West Virginia a team with a pulse, they ended with losses to Iowa State and Kansas.

...and they went 9-4 and finished in 7th place in the SEC last year with Manziel and their other 2 first rounders while fielding one of the worst defenses in the country. They have no business being in the preseason top 25. This one is mind boggling.

A&M is bringing in Kyle Allen, the number one pocket passer according to most scouting services. That being said, it sounds like a down year for incoming QBs. A lot of scouting services would have him in the back half of the top 10 in just the West this year.

I felt like he lost control too. Kinda lost his team. I don't think he really has their respect. I'm not sure he's the guy to lead Oregon, but time will tell.

Also False. 2 guys made some comments. 2. not the whole team. 2 guys.
He had THE BEST first year record of any Oregon head coach, ever.
He had to deal with off field stuff like Lyerla and he handled it perfectly.
I have no issues or problems with him as the coach.

I would say the Zona game was a red flag. May be a 1 time thing, but Oregon didnt show up and refused to compete in that one.

We'll just have to see. I hope he succeeds. I like seeing Pac 12 teams do well.

Yeah I think you are giving us too much credit. We got absolutely smoked last year down there.

It wasnt about the record so much as deflating balls and changing numbers on players and other shadiness

:L Really? You are normally better than this man.

Name me any other HC that inherited an equally stocked and experienced team from Oregon's past. It's entirely irrelevant. He didn't fall flat on his face, but he also didn't really put his own stamp on it and improve it much either. I know you all wanted to see him move to a higher threat passing game and maybe he did? :noidea: Still wasn't anything substantial.
