Is he worth going after? I have Owen Daniels and Jordan Reed. I can't seem to make the right choice about which TE to play.

Told a friend of mine during the week about him because he needed a TE. Didn't listen and was pissed after learning Escobar had 2 TD's yesterday. TEams are spending so much time defending the run and Dez and Witten, there is nobody to cover Escobar or Williams.

Reed is a much safer play. Take the #1 over the #2 TE all day

If you don't think teams are so worried they actually cover him, watch a Dallas game some time. For one, Romo isn't throwing as much as he used to so Witten isn't getting the volume he used to. But when Witten does go for a pass he is usually bracketed. That's how Escobar is getting open.

Sorry..we weren't talking about Witten for fantasy. I don't blame you for not taking him for fantasy. Much better options.

Since you don't get points for his blocking, which he is doing much more of and excels at it...he is washed up? He isn't see the number of targets he used to because is QB is throwing 50% fewer passes, so he is washed up?

Not following how because he isn't lighting up your fantasy scoreboard he is washed up.

If you are saying washed up for your team, so be it. To say he is washed up in the NFL because his fantasy numbers have dipped, that's silly. Most would say Romo is playing his best football ever, but his fantasy numbers are down because of it.

I realize we are in the Fantasy forum, but when an Eagle fan says "are they even covering him anymore, or is he totally washed up" I think that is more of an overall frame of reference.

Stick with Reed.

Escobar has like 7 catches. If he does not score, he is giving you nothing. You NEVER want a guy like that in fantasy football.
