Erin Andrews' response to the Sherman interview

Thought this added some nice closure to the whole ordeal. I was surprised by her response to be honest.

Richard Sherman is two things:

1. The best CB in football, and

To add to what Podunkparte said, Sherman may be a lot of things to a lot of people, but you can't please everybody and yes, at least he's honest.

Kudos to Erin Andrews for taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture on this.

Yeah a lot of people talk about how he is a punk but i do not think there is one player on the Hawks team that does MORE for the city and Charity than Richard Sherman does. He is a beast of a CB in games but off the field he is a funny and extremely nice guy. The interview got him when he was still in "Game mode" that's all. It did not help that Crabtree was very disrespectful to him at Fitz's black tie event for Charity which is also disrespectful to Fitz and that Charity.

the true punk is the one that was a punk in college the one that held out for more money because he wasn't drafted as high as he thought he should have been and the one that has proven to be an extreme diva even though he has not really did anything in the NFL.

I was listening to the radio on the way to the airport this morning. 4:30 am.... ughh, anyway it was a national show.

I really agreed, they said one sentence puts it all together.

Sherman is a great player and a "poor winner" . Can't argue with either. I dont think Sherm would start a war with someone, but if someone starts one with him by slighting him, he will NOT let them forget about it after beating them.....

It was nice to see her being honest. I think a lot of us knew she grabbed him right away hoping to get that major moment and was rewarded for it in a big way. She and the network win, while Sherman and our fans lose. I hate that this was blown way out of proportion, but Sherman needs to learn from these and find a way to manage himself in interviews right after the games. Meanwhile Andrews admitting she got exactly what she wanted is nice.

Mere minutes after the biggest play of his career in the biggest game of his career they stick a mic in is face. God forbid you get any genuine emotion at a time like that.

People want players to be warlike gladiators on the field but turn into Mary Fuckin' Poppins the minute the mic's on? Get real.
