The 610 mid-day show was asking this question yesterday. Do you think Eric Lindros a Hall of Famer? Im kind of both ways on this one. I think he should just by his production. The guy was a beast day 1 he stepped into the NHL. No doubt he would be in if he didnt have the injuries to go with his career .

I know there was A LOT of drama surrounding him, but Lindros def deserves to be in the Hall.

Without a doubt, he performed day in and day out, just couldn't stand his personality and family off the ice!

He should be buried under a fucking bus along with his worthless father! I sure wouldn't cry if he didn't make it! No hard feelings, eh Eric!

He was a HOF player without HOF numbers because of injury. He was about 3/4 the player that the Flyers tought they were getting. I bought season tickets for his rookie year and he created excitement every time he hit the ice. Remember, Flyers gave up a ton, including Foppa to get him. I would say his career was very good, but not great. JMHO :D

Holy shit right out of the archives. I remember when this was posted.. Shit I miss those boys SF, Tox, etc. Btw, Lindros very well should be in the HOF. The dude was dominant during his time. He won't get in bc of his short career, but more importantly, the voters hold fucking grudges forever. He was not liked by a lot of media, etc.

I would put him in, great player, really enjoyed watching him play. A big reason the Pens & Flyers are such a rivalry.

Yea I agree, I remember those rivalries. Lindros was one of my favorite players while I was growing up. His skill for his size was unbelievable. It's sad that injuries plagued his career.

Yeah, Lindros is the reason I became aware of the ramifications of concussions, was really an eye opener. They had him on the NHL Network yesterday. He seems to be doing well, even built a hospital. People could say he was a dick for not wanting to play for the Nordiques, but I always thought he was a class's act. He even signed a hockey card for me when I was little. As a Pens fan, I'm a big Eric Lindros fan.

Hexy def in my top 10. I loved seeing his two career goals vs Caps and I believe Boston? Playoff goal and regular season... I had a t shirt when I was a kid that had the Flyer logo and it said " lightening only strikes once.. Hextall strikes twice." what a great era of hockey in the 80s. Tochet, Sinisalo, Eklund, Dave Brown, Hexy, etc.:yahoo:

One of my most vivid Hex memories was when he went after Rob Brown after he scored. Brown was running for his life. lol

Yes for Lindros HOF.
