no SJB thread? I'm lazy. only ran 4.61, but had best vertical of all DBs at 41.5. 10'8" on the broad jump which is pretty good. 6'2", 218. they comparing him to Sherman who ran slightly faster at like 4.56 but only jumped 38 and 10'5". sherman was 6'3" and only 196 three years ago at the combine. most of that info was from LJS.

You don't get bored at any level when you're great.

The kid was the front runner for the Heisman to start the season. That's boring?

Bullshit....he pulled himself out of the game how many times this year dying for air. It is well documented that he partied his ass off last summer and got wayyyyyy out of shape.

SJB is 6'4" 225 and runs a 4.4 How much faster can a guy get? I dont think that a 4.39 is that much more impessive then a 4.4 even though it looks WAY faster on paper. Also in-game speed is where it is at. All this pro day shit is just to get ESPN ratings. I have always said if you want to find out how fast players are put them in pads and have them run a 40 or a shuttle or do a vertical jump. That is the only way you will find out how talented these indentured servants really are.

IMO he would have had to run a 4.4 to make a major jump. I think hell be drafted anywhere from late 3rd to 5th round.

4.39 literally looks 0.01 faster than 4.4 on paper to me....

Maybe that's just me though.

what are you guys looking at? SJB was 4.61, Brasky saying he'll hit 4.4 at pro day. I'd guess 4th round right now since so many people see his stats similar to Sherman, his height really makes up some difference in speed.

your silly if you think a defensive player is gonna win the heisman . Suh got what 4-5 he was just the next player to get hyped by sec n espn. He just enjoyed the ride knowing millions are on the way.

factor double teams and the fact teams ran away from him he did ok. As for the party line... really it's college he didn't seem out of shape combine wise.if Clowney came out of neb those words wouldn't have came out

since this is where i posted other SJB stuff.

31. Denver Broncos
Needs: OT, CB, DL
The pick: Stanley Jean-Baptiste (CB, Nebraska) – One thing John Elway learned in the Super Bowl loss to Seattle was the importance of having a big corner who can take away one side of the field. Baptiste isn't Richard Sherman just yet, but he has all the skills to eventually be on that level. A great combination of size, skill and athleticism, he has excellent ball skills (which I love in a corner) and a corner's mentality (ability to move on from bad plays). A great legacy enhancer for Champ Bailey would be to impart his knowledge of the nuances of the position onto his new understudy.

this yahoo guy thinks SJB makes the 1st round. Y! SPORTS

Charles Woodson, DB, Mich., 1997. Beat out Peyton Manning by over 200 votes.
