I said it on the Detroit thread: If they manage to get him, Detroit will have the most ridiculous and terrifying D-Line to ever walk the earth.

They would have to make an absurd offer to trade up and there's no way he falls to the 10 spot.

I will say this, if he quits smoking weed and partying, and instead mans up this summer, he could be great.

He took steps backwards this year though and it was all because of his offseason behavior.

Yup, every other play or so they would be incredible. He'll tank on the others.

I hope he smokes more weed. I hope everyone smokes more weed.

There should be no way he falls to the 2nd spot.

As a Rams fan I hope the Texans fall in love with one of the three QB's and drafts one the Rams don't need Clowney they've got Quinn who IMO was a better talent coming out of college. I'd say Alanta at 6 would pay the Rams for the right to pick him.

agree with blkflag. when i watched Clowney, he just looked bored with college ball. teams would run away from him or double team him and he didn't get many chances for stats. he probably should have made the leap last year instead of sticking around.

He only had 21 bench presses though. Sure he's fast, but does he have the upper body strength and technique to beat NFL caliber linemen on a consistent basis?

Not bashing the guy because I didn't see him play enough. The highlight always shown was him blowing up that Michigan RB in a bowl game from Jan 2013.

I think that was bc of the weight loss. you can tell he was training to get a low 40 time. but please this guy had serious talent. only thing he might need to work on his craft against nfl bc in college he could get away with using his talent. The defensive player of the year SEC wise only did 17....
